The formation of Gunpla Ultra
It was not too long ago since I’ve picked up and built my first gunpla kit, and I fell in love with it instantly. It brought me unparalleled joy throughout the entire build process, and I knew at that instant that this is something I want more people to experience.
Unfortunately, the Gunpla community within South Africa is still in its infancy, and as a part of this community, I want to help it grow by giving the community more choices in terms of kit selection, pick up location from Cape Town, and something that we’re excitedly experimenting, Premium Bandai pre-order and import.
We’re still in our own infancy and I hope that we can grow with the community and provide everyone with all of your gunpla needs.

Q: Are your Gundam products genuine Gundam products producted by Bandai?
A: YES! All of our Gundam products are genuine Gundam products manufactured by Bandai. We source them from their Asian distributors and ship them to South Africa.
Q: Why Gunpla Ultra?
A: Gunpla stands for Gundam Plastic Model, which is the core of this store. and Ultra stands for Ultraman.
Being someone who grew up on Tokusatsu films, Ultraman specifically, I want to spread the joys of Tokusatsu films through their Ultraman models
Q: Where’re you situated?
A: We’re situated in Cape Town, Brackenfell to be exact!
Q: How does pickup work and where can we pick up the stock!
A: We’re situated in Brackenfell, please do arrange with us a day before so we can get it ready for you!
Q: Did I hear… Premium Bandai?!
A: Yes you heard correctly!
If there’s a PB kit that you want that still has their preorder open, let me know here and I will give you an estimated price of what the product will cost. If you’re happy with the price, I will put down an order for you. It will then be shipped to us when it’s released, at which point we’ll send you a message and keep it aside for you.
You don’t need to put down any deposits and you’re not obligated to purchase said item when it eventually releases, we understand that you might change your mind in the couple of months that it takes for the kit to be released, and that’s perfectly fine. Please do bear in mind that we can only order a limited number of the same Premium Bandai kit so you will need to act quick to ensure that the kit is reserved for you.

Q: How long does delivery take?
A: We’ll ship out your order on the next day, if you order on Monday, you should receive it within the week.
